This class features fundamental lessons and techniques on basic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu theory. This class will prepare students for situational, positional, and live sparring through improving their understanding of jiu jitsu. Students will learn both defensive and offensive jiu jitsu concepts and techniques that are essential to learning more advanced techniques.
This class will prepare you to participate in group classes. You will learn the most basic self-defense and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques that are essential for your new journey. There will be no sparring or complicated movements in this class.
In order to take this class you will need to have at least 6 months of experience and a sound understanding of the basics of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. This class enables you to develop a more complete individualized game. Advanced and more modern techniques will be introduced through detailed explanation and demonstration. Positional, situational and live sparring will take place during this class. A Gi is required to participate in the Gi class. A Gi is not required for the No Gi class, but you must wear an appropriate No Gi uniform in order to participate.
All levels are welcome! This class is designed to accommodate those who want to train before work. This class will explore the concepts and techniques of jiu jitsu. The instructor will take into account the differing levels of students attending and cater to their level; fundamentals or more advanced movements. It’s never too early and it’s never too late to train jiu jitsu.
