We offer a children’s class for 3 to 5 year olds, 5 to 7 year olds, and 8-14 year olds. Physical activity is a crucial component in child development. Jiu Jitsu offers your child a safe place to grow, develop confidence, structure, and motivation to go beyond their comfort zones. These are essential to their growth and development throughout their lives. The most important part of learning is having fun. Our children’s classes incorporate social interaction, motivation, challenge, and fun through learning Jiu Jitsu. We wish for our students to not only develop their Jiu Jitsu, but also practice respect, humility, improve body awareness/coordination skills, good listening skills, and structure. We take the anti-bullying movement very seriously and will discuss tactics on what to do if your child/children encounter a situation in which they are being bullied as well as witnessing another child being bullied. We encourage them to push themselves beyond their comfort zones to discover their endless abilities and feel empowered to be who they are.

Therefore, sparring will take place in this class.
