Jon Masa

Jon is the wrestling technician at Royal Jiu Jitsu. He is the only three-time D1 All-American in Hofstra wrestling history. He is also one of just three four-time Conference champions with CAA titles in 2002, 2003, 2005, and 2006. While still in college Jon competed for Puerto Rico at the World Champions in 2003 and the Pan American games in 2003 winning a bronze medal. In high school he was a 5x all county and 2x all state wrestler from the local wrestling powerhouse Long Beach. In 2002 Jon won high school nationals championships defeating future UFC champion Frankie Edgar in the finals. His collective achievements in wrestling earned him a spot in the Hofstra Athletics Hall of Fame.
